Retro Style Black Sunglasses

Starting from head to toe, Zoe selected the SW Retro Style Black Sunglasses with smoked lenses from Sunglass Warehouse. This ultra cool website is where the smart fashionistas go to get the hottest luxury inspired sunglasses for less. Nothing burns more than to scratch, break or lose and expensive pair of shades. And let’s face it, we all have done it at one time or another, which is why owning luxury accessories, can leave you feeling more grief than chic. Zoe’s Ray-ban inspired sunglasses would cost her a lot more than the similar Retro shades she’s wearing in the video.

Amanda Circle Scarf

Zoe selected the Amanda Circle Scarf in Red, because that’s her favorite color. As seen in the video, the infinity scarf double loops casually around the neck creating a layered look. The thing that is so attractive about infinity scarves is its versatility. You can also wear it as a shrug, through the arms and around the neck. You can also wear it more Beverly Hills chic by lacing one end through the other around the neck. There’s really an infinite amount of possible ways to wear this piece.

Jamie Buckle Satchel

Next, Zoe scored the Jamie Buckle Satchel from our friends at Handbag Heaven. Zoe is currently a working college student, so naturally she selected a handbag for a fashionista on the go that will accommodate her school necessities and transition nicely to a work setting. The Jamie Buckle Satchel has two front strap closures and turn lock claps to keep the contents of the bag secure. The two toned color block Tan/Olive handbag also has handy long shoulder strap, which gives a chic messenger bag look to it.

Fantasik Wedges

Last but certainly not least, Zoe went with the Fantasik High Heel Wedges in black courtesy of Shiekh Shoes. Judging by her video response, Zoe absolutely loves these ultra high platform wedges with color block heel. We love the edgy thick straps and sexy peep toe front. The Fantasik Wedges will add 5 ½ inches to your current height, so if you’re the kind of fashionista that loves to be super high like Zoe then Shiekh Shoes has what you’re looking for.

What She Wore: Gossip Girl Season 5 Fashion Update

Hello fashionistas! Today we’re checking out what fashions the leading ladies of Gossip Girl Season 5 have been wearing. Cut to designer cocktail dresses, luxury handbags and let’s face it top designer everything. We’re going to keep you posted regularly on the hottest looks and fashionable fun we see on the show. Blair Waldorf

Wedding boutiques better stock up on Theia Fall 2011 wedding gowns because it’s what Blair wore on the premiere episode of Gossip Girl. She looked like a bride straight out of a Shakespeare sonnet.

With Blair’s style, less is definitely more. She’s wearing an Oscar De La Renta gown from the SS 2011 collection. This elegant floral print strapless dress is fitted at the top and parachutes at the bottom into a high low ascending hem. Blaire’s gown is accessorized with an orange snakeskin designer clutch.

Blair is wearing a more casual look in this jewel print Moschino Cheap & Chic dress. The dress is normally a knee length, so what we see is a little set stylist trick on how to make a conservative dress sexy. Trick number one, tailor the dress to mini length according to actress’s height. Trick number two, use the excess fabric to accessorize the dress further, for example create a bow or belt for and add to the dress as seen above. And presto, instant Gossip Girl glam!

Serena van der Woodsen

Above Serena is wearing a crisp white luxury tank top by Rag & Bone, open front black and white beaded city chic vest by Theyskens Theory, a floor length maxi skirt with an intricate feather design by Rag & Bone, accessorized with mixed ocean blue precious stone pivot bracelets by MCL by Matthew Campbell Laurenza and a stunning Rockstud Python luxury tote by Valentino.

Next Serena wore a yellow and peach iridescent sleeveless mini wrap dress by Mike Gonzalez, paired with a large beaded flower statement necklace by Noir, with brown peep toe gladiator sandals by Roger Vivier and green luxury Louis Vuitton Vernis Alma status bag.

Serena always manages to look bright and sunny on the Gossip Girl show. Pictured above she’s wearing a super edgy studded silk tank top by Maje Cream, paired with the crème de la crème of Alice and Olivia dresses (Alice + Olivia Shannon Printed Maxi) a pleated maxi dress skirt. She also wore some subtle color blocking by adding a turquoise statement necklace completing her look.

Paris Fashion Week: From Dior Leather Dresses to Lanvin Sheer Bottoms

Paris Fashion Week has wrapped and we have a mix of highlights from the SS 2012 Paris events. Who went, who rocked and who flopped. Stand outs during Paris fashion week were Lanvin and Dior and we also spotted some front row fashionistas at the show. Check out our mini recap below.

The SS 2012 Lanvin runway show was exciting as usual with a few surprises. Above we see an Olive colored deep v-neck silk gown with a sheer bottom. We’ve seen this design do very well with Gucci and feel it will do well with other lines.

Fierce and elegant this sheer bottom, belted, cut out maxi dress sported an original looking upper body design. We can’t see it in the photo, but the back is cut out as well.

Above is a different variation on the typically long sheer maxi dress. We see a black deep v-neck, belted, knee length dress with a sheer bottom. Very sexy.

Next we see that edgier side of Lanvin. The black bordered white knee length skirt and the long sleeve peek-a-boo blouse are fierce in every since of the word.

Last but not least is the above front slit skinny belted dramatic v-neck knee length wrap dress. This garment just looks wearable which is what we like about it. This one can definitely go from runway to rack without a doubt.

Next is the SS 2012 Christian Dior runway. Above we begin with this sheer bottom flowing gown with intricate strappy top. Again we feel like we’ve seen this before with Gucci in the fall, but seeing it again isn’t so horrible.

Leather dresses have absolutely been trending lately and it looks like Dior expects this trend to carry over to next spring. This tan colored sheath dress with pleated bottm has an interesting mosaic trim on the sleeves and hem of the dress. We love the detail.

Next the above pictured classical looking dress is something we expect to see on the red carpet. The chiffon vertical ruffles give this dress a 1940’s elegant appealing look.

Last but not least from the Dior collection is this long fairytale flowing white gown with black ribbon waist detailing.

A Fashion Week wouldn’t be complete without Rachel Zoe. The front row fashionista attended Barbara Bui’s SS 2012 showing. Upon returning home from sweeping all of the fashion shows this month, Zoe travelled with an outrageous 13 bags of luggage. Somebody’s a happy little fashionista!

From showing in New York to viewing in Paris Mary-Kate and Ashley were front row fashionistas spotted at the Montaigne Market store. The famous fashion duo are Fashion Week staples at any fashion event. It’s always a treat to see them come out.

Salma Hayek was a front row fashionista at Paris Fashion Week. She was in attendance at her father in law’s Balenciaga SS 2012 runway show. For the first time sitting front row was less appealing seeing as how the front bench broke and all of fashion’s elite had to stand. I bet they’ll think twice before they laugh at a model that loses her balance on the runway again. Karma!

Fashion Mashup: Hello Kitty for Forever 21

Get ready to get happy Hello Kitty fashionistas. Our favorite affordable clothing store, Forever 21, just got a little bit cooler. Mid November, Forever 21 will be carrying a new fashion collection by Hello Kitty. It’s not only an epic collaboration, but super smart since the age demographic for the two brands are so similar. We absolutely love a good fashion mash-up. Take a sneak peak at what styles to expect from the collection below.

We so love this cute oversized camel cardigan with the signature Hello Kitty face on the side. We also like the red socks with Hello Kitty bows, they’re such a cute contrast paired with the leopard print pumps (pictured above). Last we see a small handbag from the collection that is worth a little more investigating.

Next up for review is this simple white quarter sleeve sweatshirt with a Hello Kitty design on the front, sleeves and the back. This Hello Kitty top is one of the more basic pieces in the collection and at such a sensible price point.

Then from the collection is this awesome long sleeve fringe bottom shirt with a gold Hello Kitty design on the front. We’re certain that fashionistas across the country will be adding this carefree top to their collections. Pair this top with a pair of Forever 21 sequined shorts or skirt for a super chic look.

The collection will also offer this adorable light fabric dress blouse featuring a button up front, tie neck, pleated bib and covered in Hello Kitty faces. This totally feminine top stop short at the waist and comes in a long sleeve version. Pictured above, the fashionable top is paired with black leather shorts for a complete edgy feminine look.

What fashionistas wardrobe is complete without pajamas? Sleeping in style is as important as stepping out of the front door with the right outfit on. The Forever 21 Hello Kitty collection offers a pajama set complete with nighttime accessory bag to hold your necessary toiletries. The top features rolled up sleeves and a button up front and the entire set is covered in popular Hello Kitty bows.

This sweet and innocent cardigan is another favorite from the Hello Kitty collection at Forever 21. We like this piece for its charming pink detailing against a navy body.

We all know that Hello Kitty girls love nerds, so it’s only fitting that Hello Kitty lovers sport a somewhat geeky looking Hello Kitty cat on front of a preppy quarter sleeved crew neck sweater from the HK Forever 21 collection.

Fall Must See TV: Gossip Girl Season 5 Premiere

Serena – Apparently Serena is going to try her luck at becoming a starlet and heat up the screen with a new love interest who is neither Nate nor Dan. We hear her new love interest is hot, steamy and worth the ratings.

Dan – On a true love driven mission, Dan has bigger demons to face with his feelings for Blair and her wedding into Royalty. We can’t wait to see what’s next in Dan’s quest for true love in the city, with Vanessa gone and out of the picture we are curious to see where his story will take him during season 5.

Blair – Queen B is on a mission to claim her rightful thrown as princess, but will her history with big love Chuck be too much for her to overcome in the end. Or how about this scenario; will the feelings that Blair developed for Lonely Boy in Season 4 be something that she can’t deny as much as she wants to. Does Blair actually have the nerve to dump a Prince at the altar? All eyes on Blair for Season 5.

Chuck – Has Chuck really given up on Blair and let her go into the arms of another man. Is this the same person who once proclaimed Blair belongs to him? No, Chuck and Blair is a big love and possibly even bigger than the two of them. Apart they are unpredictable which makes them a favorite to watch, but somehow Chuck is not the same man without Blair (without true love). Will Chuck find true love again in Season 5?

Nate – Last but certainly not least was Nathaniel is up to his old tricks again, sexually that is. We hear his new love interest is Elizabeth Hurley and the two have a steamy chemistry that supposedly pales in comparison to his love scenes with the Duchess. Come on Archibald, you’ve had the best so what’s up with the flings? Will Nate find his way back to his Upper Eastside loves? Or will he keep sliding down this loveless slippery slope. We hope to get some answers from Season 5.
